SIS Announces New John C. Winslow Memorial Scholarship
The School of Information Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is pleased to announce a $30,000 gift from the John C. Winslow Fellowship Fund to establish the John C. Winslow Memorial Scholarship. Current and prospective students who are already working in public libraries and who are graduates of the University of Tennessee and/or Vanderbilt University will be given special consideration.
“We are grateful for this generous gift, especially since it will help those already working in public libraries earn professional credentials, so they can serve their communities to an even greater extent,” said SIS Director Diane Kelly. “We hope to use this gift to provide a small number of students, who are already making a difference in their communities, with strong financial support so they can earn their MSIS degrees.”
