Dania Bilal is a professor in the School of Information Science (SIS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is the Youth Informatics Graduate Certificate program coordinator for SIS. Her favorite thing about working at the School of Information Science is mentoring students to become independent thinkers; inspiring students to become active in research; and making a difference in students’ lives. Dania Bilal is active in research, and has received several awards and recognitions for her scholarship and professorship.
