White leads the Digital Engagement department at Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries in Richmond, VA. They direct the strategy for web infrastructure, digitization, digital collections and digital scholarship, and also do work around diversity, equity, and inclusion. Notable recent collaborations include the digital scholarship project Mapping the Second Ku Klux Klan, 1915-1940; the Digital Virginias DPLA hub; and leading VCU Libraries’ 2018 Gender-Inclusive Library Workgroup. They started as an SIS lecturer in Fall 2020.
