  • Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals
    Includes a listing of job positions, allows user to post a description of him/herself for employers to read. Focused on both job seekers and employers. “SCIP provides education and networking opportunities for business professionals working in the rapidly growing field of competitive intelligence (the legal and ethical collection and analysis of information regarding the capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions of business competitors). Many SCIP members have backgrounds in market research, strategic analysis, or science and technology.” Site focuses more on the information technology side of LIS careers.

Job site includes basic job search option, as well as links to pages offering jobs exclusively to technicians with active security clearances and engineers, as well as links to certification information, salary information, and resume writing.

    Corestaff is an Information management staffing service, offering jobs in records management and libraries. Jobs are posted from across country. Site also has links to library associations, records management associations, and educational links.

    Library Associates is a specialty staffing and recruiting organization. They serve candidates with backgrounds in information science, including those with Master’s degrees in Library or Information Science, but also recruit archivists, writers, editors, indexers, taxonomists, and library technicians.
