Biography:
Jamie Osborn currently works as the Reference Services Manager of the Knox County Public Library System. She has worked as a Public Librarian for 19 years in a variety of positions and locations all within the Knox County Public Library. She has served in progressively responsible positions at the McClung Historical Collection, the Halls Branch Library and Lawson McGhee Library. For the past 17 years Jamie has served on a variety of committees as well as the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Library Association. She has also been a member of the American Library Association, East Tennessee Library Association and the University of Tennessee, School of Information Sciences Alumni Society Board. She co-curated the traveling museum exhibit “Reading Appalachia” based off her Master’s Thesis completed in 2008.
