Jamie Osborn currently works as the Branch Manager of the Halls Branch Library, part of the Knox County Public Library System. She has worked as a Public Librarian for 17 years in a variety of positions and locations all within the Knox County Public Library. She has served in progressively responsible positions at the McClung Historical Collection, Lawson McGhee Library and the Halls Branch Library. For the past 15 years Jamie has served on a variety of committees as well as the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Library Association. She has been a member of the American Library Association, East Tennessee Library Association and the University of Tennessee, School of Information Sciences Alumni Society Board. She co-curated the traveling museum exhibit “Reading Appalachia” based off of her Master's Thesis completed in 2008. The exhibit has been traveling for over five years and has reached thousands of library patrons.
