Bio:

Gillian Kelly has been a Data Analyst on the Impact Research team at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center since 2021. In this role, she is primarily responsible for managing a database of companies and people in the life sciences industry. This data provides intelligence necessary to answer complex research questions in support of economic development efforts in North Carolina. As a first-time attendee at SLA’s annual conference in 2022, Gillian led a group of volunteers as a part of a DEI initiative to better support fellow attendees. Prior to getting her degree, she supported the Boards of Directors of the American Cancer Society and their advocacy organization, ACS CAN. In her free time, Gillian enjoys getting outside (whether that’s going to the beach, the pool, or taking her SUP for a spin), reading, fiber arts, and calligraphy.
