Biography

Aimée Leverette is a Market Analytics Manager at Clarivate, based in her home office in Colorado. She has held this position since 2016. She uses internal data and data from libraries and universities around the globe to assist librarians in making evidence-based acquisitions decisions regarding database, archival collections, e and print books, and streaming video content. In addition to this primary role at ProQuest, to address concerns and demand due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, Aimée has voluntarily taken on a second temporary Collection & Workflow Consultant role with the Books Division at ProQuest, supporting the United Kingdom, Ireland, and India. This role affords direct customer engagement regarding print and ebooks acquisition and subscription modes and methods. Prior to this Aimée was a full-time Collection & Workflow Consultant in 2015-16, and previously spent 10 years as a Customer Education & Training Specialist/Training & Consulting Partner at ProQuest and Cambridge Scientific Abstracts. While at the University of Tennessee, she had the distinct honor to co-author the highly cited article “Rare Condition: Preservation Assessment for Rare Book Collections” in RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Cultural Heritage, v.6.2 Fall 2005. She continues to do research regarding rare books, but is keenly interested in how libraries use data and statistics in evidence-based acquisitions, space reclamation/reuse, ROI assessments, learning assessments, the library’s impact on graduation rates and student retention, and patron engagement with electronic resources.
